1] JEE MAIN

About:- This is online mode examination which held every year to admit students to NIT’s and IIIT’s across the India for pursuing engineering. Conducted by NTA under MHRD.
Frequency:- 4 times a year (as per new rules) in February, March, April, May Eligibility: students who pursued intermediate or equal certificate before 2 years to students who are pursuing this year, no age limit.
Application:- Application to be done on online mode.
Subjects:- 5 subjects with 3 compulsory and 2 elective/optional
For B.tech :
Mathematics, Physics and one of (Chemistry/biotechnology/biology/technical vocational subjects) with 2 other electives.
For B.arch:
Mathematics with either of two subjects from (Chemistry/biotechnology/biology/technical vocational subjects) with 2 other electives.


2] JEE ADVANCED

About: This exam is set by IIT’s and IISC to give admission to students who are eligible in one of various engineering branches and also for B.Arch. and B. Planning. Every year one of the IIT take lead and conducts examination.
Frequency: Once a year.
Eligibility: One who qualified JEE mains and has a minimum of 75% score in board exam for general candidates and 65% for SC/ST and PWD
Application: Application can be done online guidelines are shared by NTA in score card of JEE main.
Subjects: Mathematics, Physics, chemistry.


3] GATE

About: GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST IN ENGINEERING is known as GATE is conducted by 7 IIT’s and IISC under MHRD to provide masters for the candidates who are eligible and the GATE score is considered by some of PSUs to offer jobs to candidates. It is a three hours exam.
Frequency: Once a year
Eligibility: Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering / Technology / Architecture (3 years after 10+2/ 10+2+3(ongoing)/ 10+2+4(ongoing)/ Post-B.Sc./ Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programs (Also prefinal year of B. tech).
• Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final year of such programs.
• Candidates in the second or higher year of Four-year integrated master's degree programs (Post-B.Sc.) in Engineering / Technology.
• Candidates in the fourth or higher year of Five-year integrated master's degree programs or Dual Degree programs in Engineering / Technology.
• Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognized by UGC/AICTE (e.g., AMIE by IE(India), AMICE by the Institute of Civil Engineers (India)-ICE(I), AMIETE by IETE(India)) as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.
Those who have completed section A or equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible. There is no age limit criterion defined by the exam conducting authority to appear in GATE.
Application: The application is to be done on online mode. Guidelines are provided by GATE board.

4] SBI PO

ABOUT:- This exam is conducted by State Bank of India. It is conducted to select candidates for the post of Probationary Officers (PO).
